All of the above are methods of allowing water to flow into your colon. The difference between the Colonic (biggest) and the Enema (smallest) is 88 litres. Colonics are administered by a trained practitioner, needing specialist plumbing & electricity – the Gravity method is the most simple & effective in my opinion, the Closed system is favoured in some places – the machinery looks more fancy, though it lacks the sensitivity & ‘talk’ factor of the Gravity method; Colemas (not available to buy in UK yet) & Clysmatics are self administered & semi-portable – used on most fasting retreats, as well as at home, usually with a 5 gallon tank (I’m not a fan); Enemas are the most portable, easy for travelling – usually a 2 litre bag or bucket, hung from a door handle or hook in the bathroom.
Pros + Cons: each work, but different ones will suit different people best – my bathroom is freezing right now, so having enemas in the winter is hardcore! Clysmatics don’t make alot of sense to me – due to being vertical on loo, you’re not going to have a great flow rate; Colema boards take up a lot of space, but will give good results; Colonics needs fixtures & fittings, but work the best; Enema bags are easy to store, & to travel with, but you won’t get the same output. The Australian Libbe method of colonics has just arrived in London – though I haven’t tried one yet – if you have, please let me know how it went.
My favourite enema at the moment (or Colonic implant) is garlic. Soak two cloves of crushed garlic in 1/2 l water for a couple of hours, or overnight. Strain + add to warm enema water in the 2nd bag. Yum.

Only tried Enemas. Being in a hot country helps as with a bit of privacy you can lie outside in the sun whilst you do it, sweating out those toxins too.
Is the Gravity method a colonics method?

Hi Blake, yes Woods Gravity is a method of colonics – a 5 gallon tank, a speculum & some tubing. Nothin’ fancy

I’ve had colonics and enemas. I’m looking at the Woods Gravity system for home use. I looked at the Colema board about two years ago but based on how my toilet and bathroom sink is situated it won’t work. I’ll continue to get my colonics.
Great blog!

You can always check out mysite at http://www.gravitycolonhydrotherapy.com. I practice Woods exclusively and I’m in the San Francisco Bay area. Natalia Rose recommends me as the only place in Northern California to get a colonic! (www.detoxtheworld.com). So come and check us out!
Also, if you are looking for gravity colon hydrotherapy in other states, there’s a great directory where you can list others or yourself or business at http://www.colon-hydrotherapy.net. It’s free, no google ads and crap, just a great resource for small business colon therapists.
Thanks!
