My gorgeous friend Dickon Walker called me last year after receiving his testicular cancer diagnosis, seeking methods to save his balls, whilst avoiding the advice from the men in white coats. 18 months later he is cancer free, expecting his first child & more handsome than ever. Tuesday October 20th he is giving a talk about his health journey @ Manna in Brighton @ 8pm..

Hi Suki,
Your comment that the U.S. did nothing to inspire your writing arrested me–I have felt similarly–but, alas, I am a U.S. native and cannot return to green England to unlock my creative heart. Please write of the American drought you experienced.
I am also interested in your friend Dickon’s natural rendezvous with testicular cancer. We can heal so much if only we listen to ourselves and our plant friends, ever at the ready to serve, the original angels.
Keep writing! I am happy to have found you.

Hi Elizabeth
Thank you.
Between us all there will be some filming of tonight’s talk
The writing – I’m not sure if it’s having quiet mornings to myself again, or if its’ the shape of the desk/table, or if I’m making my tea differently. Maybe it does just down to the moist climate – when I think of the music made in the wettest towns here, I feel in good company..
